Gridhakuta

Gridhakuta is in Rajgir in Nalanda district of Bihar in India. It was the place where Lord Buddha set in a motion his second wheel of law. He preached here for several months.

The Buddha Sangha of Japan have constructed a massive modern stupa, the Shanti Stupa (Peace Pagoda) at the top of the hill in commemoration of Buddha delivering sermons.
