Grover Cleveland

Grover Cleveland (1837 – 1908), full name Stephen Grover Cleveland, was President of the United States, born in New Jersey, son of a Presbyterian minister. He was bred for the bar. He became President in the Democratic interest in 1885. He was unseated for his free-trade leaning by Senator Harrison, 1889. However, he became the President a second time in 1893 and retired in 1897.
