Guha Chittagong
Guha Chittagong was a revolutionary freedom fighter of India, born on 09.06.1912 in Chittagong, now in Bangladesh. He was son of Nandalal Guha. He joined the revolutionary party in 1927, and was one of the fighters in the assault on the police armoury and Jalalabad hill pitched battle with army. After the incident, he remained underground for about 32 months. He shot at Durno, District Magistrate of Dacca and inflicted severe injury. He was ultimately arrested and convicted to life term. He was deported to Andamans, repatriated in 1938, and released in 1946. His total jail period was 14 years.Nearby pages
