Hämerkin

Hämerkin, also Hämmerlein, was the paternal name of Thomas à Kempis (1380-1471), the German-Dutch canon who was the author of The Imitation of Christ, published anonymously in Latin in the Netherlands (c. 1418–1427), which is one of the most popular and best known Christian devotional books.
