Hansard

Hansard is the name of the record of the proceedings and debates in the British Parliament, published by the printers Hansard, the founder of the firm being Luke Hansard (1752 – 1828), an English printer of Norwich, who came to London in 1770 as a compositor, and succeeded as proprietor of the business in which he was a workman.
