Healthy worker survivor effect

This effect refers to the selection process by which workersaffected by their occupational exposure terminate prematurelytheir working life or transfer from higher to lesserexposed jobs, generally leading to under-estimation of risksand dose-response estimation. The healthy worker survivoreffect is most prominent in cross sectional studies of diseaseprevalence and exposure.
