Henry Wellesley Cowley

Henry Wellesley Cowley (1804-1884), also Earl Cowley, full name Henry Richard Charles Wellesley, was an eminent English diplomatist, brother of the Duke of Wellington. He served as a diplomatist in Vienna, Constantinople, and Switzerland, and was ambassador to France from 1852 to 1867.
