Ho Chi Minh

Ho Chi Minh (1892-1969), also Nguyen Al Quoc, was a Vietnamese political leader who founded the Communist Party of Vietnam in France in 1918. He became head of Viet Minh movement which sought Vietnam's independence from France. He became prime minister in 1953 and president of 1954 of North Vietnam. He also wrote poetry and devoted to seeming reunification of North and South Vietnam.
