HOWRAH

HOWRAH is a town in the state of West Bengal in India. It headquarters a district of the same name.

It is a flourishing manufacturing town on the Hooghly, opposite Calcutta, with which it is connected by a cantilever bridge with a suspended span over the Hooghly River.
