Hrusso is a tribe of Arunachal Pradesh, a state of India. Hrusso or Akas have a custom of painting their face with black marks. Their popular belief is that they were related with the Ahom Kings. They are keen traders and trade, mainly in cloths, blankets, swords etc. They have come in contact with other groups of non-tribal population and are also have found to be influenced by them up to some extent, especially Hindus and Buddhists.
