Ibn Arabi
Ibn Arabi (1165-1240), full name Muhyi al-Din ibn al-Arabi, was an Arab Sufi philosopher and poet. He was born in Arab Spain and settled in Baghdad. He wrote on Sufi mysticism. Persian Sufi poet Rumi and many Turkish and Western poets were influenced by his poetry. Ibn Arabi advocated pantheistic theology. He is also known for diverging from traditional Islamic tenet that there is only one God. He rather maintained that there is nothing but God.Wisdom & Quotes
