Imamu Amiri Baraka

Imamu Amiri Baraka (1934-2014), also Amiri Braka in short, or LeRoi Jones, or Imamu Amear Baraka, was a US writer, poet, novelist, and dramatist. He advocated black self-awareness and nationalism, and later, Maoism-Marxism.
