Independence Day

Independence Day is the name given to the day on which a country becomes independent.

For India, it is 15 August, since the country got independence from British rule on August 15, 1947. It is celebrated all over the country.

It is a holiday observed throughout the United States annually on the 4th of July in celebration of the Declaration of Independence in 1776 that day.
