Ingolstadt

Ingolstadt is a Bavarian city and fortress in Germany on the Danube, 50 miles north of Münich. It has many ancient associations. It was once the seat of a university and has been known for manufactures beer, cannon, gunpowder. Salt has been mined in the vicinity from centuries.
