Irving Berlin
Irving Berlin (1888 — 1989), born Israel Baline, was a Russian born US composer of popular music. He was a prolific music composer. 'Alexander's Ragtime Band' (1911) and 'God Bless America' (1918) were his famous songs. His notable movies included 'Top Hat' (1935) and 'White Christmas' (1954). He also composed stage musicals, the most notable among them were 'Annie Get Your Gun' (1946) and 'Call Me Madam' (1950).
