Iskenderun

Iskenderun, also spelled Scanderoon, is a port in southern Turkey in Asia..

It is also known as the port of Aleppo, situated on the Mediterranean coast in the Gulf of Scanderoon, in the northeast of the Levant, 77 m. northwest of Aleppo. It is in itself an insignificant place, but has a large transit trade.
