IVORY COAST

Ivory Coast also known as Côte d'Ivoire is a country in West Africa. It is a Republic having de jure capital is at Yamoussoukro.

Formerly, it was a territory on the K. of the Gulf of Guinea, belonging partly to Liberia and partly to France and Britain.

Ivory Coast became independent in 1960.
