James E Thorwold Rogers

James E Thorwold Rogers (1823-1890), full name James Edwin Thorold Rogers, also James Edwin Thorold, or simply Thorold Rogers in short, was an English political economist, historian, and Liberal politician, born in Hampshire. He became professor of Political Economy at Oxford. He was author of a "History of Agriculture and Prices in England" and "Six Centuries of Work and Wages," an abridgment of it.
