Janki Temple

Janki Temple, famous as a birth place of Sita, the wife of Lord Ram, is in Sitamarhi district of Bihar, which is located at Punausa. This temple is located at about 5 km southwest of Sitamarhi town. According to tradition, it is the place where the King Janak found Sita in a earthen pitcher while tilling a land.
