Jedburgh

Jedburgh is a town in Scotland. Formerly, it was a royal burgh and traditional county town of the historic county of Roxburghshire. It is picturesquely situated on the Jed, 30 miles southwest of Berwick, and 10 miles southwest of Kelso. It is an ancient town of many historic memories. The town was made a royal burgh by David I. It contains the ruins of an abbey, and has some woollen manufactures.
