Jibendra Das

Jibendra Das alias Durgadas Sikdar was a revolutionary freedom fighter of India. He was born 12 January 1911 in Jaldi in Chittagong. He was son of Biswambar Das. He belonged to Anusheelan Samity. He was arrested on 24 February 1934 in connection with Bathua action and Conspiracy Case. Subsequently, he was sentenced to 10 years R.I and then deported to the Andamans. He took part in second hunger strike in Cellular jail. His total jail period about more than six years.
