Jogesh Chandra Das was a revolutionary freedom fighter of India. Born 24th July 1917. Gaibandha, Rangpur, Bangladesh. Belonged to Yugantar Party. Arrested in 1934. Sent up for trial underarms Act. The case is known as Gaibandha Conspiracy Case. Sentenced to 5 year prison term. Deported to Andamans. Took part in the second hunger strike in Cellular Jail. Total jail period 5 years.
