John Biddle

John Biddle (1615-1662) was an English Socinian writer in the time of Charles I and the Commonwealth. He was much persecuted for his belief, and was imprisoned, but released by Cromwell. He was regarded as the founder of English Unitarianism. He was author of a "Confession of Faith concerning the Holy Trinity".
