John Chandos
John Chandos (c. 1320 – 1369) was a celebrated English general. He was present at Crécy, governor of English provinces in France ceded by treaty of Bretigny. He defeated and took prisoner Du Guesclin of Auray. He served under the Black Prince, and was killed near Poitiers.Nearby pages
