JOSEPH CHRISTIAN VON ZEDLITZ

JOSEPH CHRISTIAN VON ZEDLITZ (1790-1862), poet, born in Austrian Silesia; entered and served in the army, and did service as a diplomatist; wrote dramas and lyrics, and translated Byron's "Childe Harold" into German.
