Joseph the Nez Percé chief
Joseph (1840 - 1904) was the Chief of the Nez Percees. He was a Native American leader who fought Nez Percé War of 1877 against relocation of his people. He initially advocated peace, however, later turned to violent means as last resort.Wisdom & Quotes
