Newspapers in Haiti could not develop mainly due to foreign rule. However, between 1750 and 1775 , about fifty publications were reported circulated at one time or other. Most of them were weeklies or published less frequently. The famous monthly journal Journal de Saint-Dominque? of 64 pages was one of them.
