JUAN DE CASTRO

JUAN DE CASTRO (1500-1548), a Portuguese soldier, born at Lisbon, distinguished for his exploits in behalf of Portugal; made viceroy of the Portuguese Indies, but died soon after in the arms of Francis Xavier.
