Juan de la Encina
Juan de la Encina (1468-1534), also Juan del Encina or Enzina, was a Spanish dramatist, whose works mark the rise of the Spanish drama, born at Salamanca. He was at one time secretary to the Duke of Alva, and afterwards conductor of music in the chapel of Leo X at Rome.Nearby pages
