Kailasagiri

Kailasagiri is a hill station in the Visakhapatnam district of Andhra Pradesh in India. It is situated near Visakhapatnam city near the Bay of Bengal. Surrounded by lush green forest and overlooking the sea, the hill is spread on an area of 350 acres.

There are two beautiful beaches nearby - Rushikonda Beach and R K Beach.

There is also a huge park called the Floral Watch. This park is shaped like a watch and is covered with grass.

On the hill, there are massive statues of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati made from white marble. There is a stream running at the base of the statue of Lord Shiva which flows down all the way to the foot of the hill.

There is a road and a ropeway facility to get at the top of of the hill.
