Kakinada Port

Kakinada Port is located in the East Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh in India in the East Coast of India between Latitude 16°56' N and Longitude 82°o15'E. This is an all weather Lighterage Port developed in a naturally sheltered bay called as Godavari Sand Spit.

This port has several facilities including complete protection to the port during southwest Monsoon. The bay area is about 100 sq km. There is also commercial canal through which cargo is transported from ship to shore and vice versa.
