Karen Blixen
Karen Blixen (1885 — 1962), also known as Baroness Blixen-Finecke, or her pseudonym Isak Dinesen, born Karen Dinesen, was a Danish novelist and short story writer. Her notable works include 'Seven Gothic Tales' (1934) and her autobiography 'Out of Africa' (1937). She is perhaps best known for her autobiography which was made into a movie in 1885, directed and produced by Sydney Pollack, and starring Meryl Streep and Robert Redford.
