Karl August Hase

Karl August Hase (1800-1890) was an eminent German theologian, born at Steinbach, Saxony, professor at Jena. He was author of a "Text-book of Evangelical Dogma," a "Life of Christ," a "Church History," &c., was equally opposed to orthodoxy and rationalism, and sought to reconcile the creed of the Church with the conclusions of science.
