Katherine Anthony

Katherine Anthony (1877 – 1965), full name Katharine Susan Anthony, (also spelled Katherine) was a US writer and educator, known particularly for biographies, such as those on Dolley Madison and Susan B Anthony. She propounded theory of biographer as melder of novelist’s, scholar’s, and historian’s skills. She is also known for her book "The Lambs" (1945), a controversial study of the British writers Charles and Mary Lamb.
