Katni
Katni is a district in the State of Madhya Pradesh in India. It is situated between 23 °37’N to 24 °80’ N and from 79 °57’ E to 80 °58’ E at a hight from sea level 392 m.History
Latest finds show that Katni has a very old history that dates back from the pre-historic periods.There are 14 big rocks painted in nearby Jhinjhari which are believed from the era of 10000 BC to 4000BC. Some of the picture are of middle ages between 700 BC and 200 BC.
