Ko Hung

Ko Hung (283-343) was a Chinese scholar, a military officer, and councilor to governor of Kuang-chou. He is famous chiefly for his autobiography. He believed in Confucianism, however, followed Taoist teachings. He even used drugs in his belief of attaining spiritual freedom by doing so.

There are some disputes about the years of birth and death of Ko Hung. Some believe his year of birth 284 and year of death 263. However, many believe these to be 283 and 343.
