!Kuchipudi Kuchipudi is an ancient hamlet in the Krishna district of the State of Andhra Pradesh in India. It is located about 60 km away from Vijayawada. It is famous for its being the birthplace of a dance form of the same name. It is said that the founder of the Kuchipudi dance, Siddhendra Yogi was residing in this village. Kuchipudi dance school, named Siddhendra kalakshetram, is located here.
