Kurukh is a language spoken mainly in Jharkhand prevalent in Oraon community. It is a member of one of the Dravidian family of languages. It is written in the Devanagari script. Apart from Jharkhand, it is also spoken in Bihar, Orissa, Chhattisgarh and West Bengal in India, and also in some part of Bangladesh. This language is facing extinction.
