Lakri Dargah

Lakri Dargah is a village in Gopalganj district of Bihar in India, known as a religious place. The village derives its name from a tomb of the same name situated there.

It is Shah Arzan's tomb, a Mohammedan saint from Patna. It is said he was attracted by the solitude of the place and had performed a chilla or a religious contemplation of 40 days, and later set up a religious establishment here, which was endowed by the Emperor Aurangazeb.

His death anniversary observed on the 11th of Rabi-us-sani every year.
