Lee Kuan Yew

Lee Kuan Yew (1923-2015), born Harry Lee Kuan Yew, often referred to by his initials LKY, was a Singaporean lawyer and politician. He was prime minister who led Singapore out of union with Malaysia into modern independent nation-state. However, he is criticized for his authoritarian attitudes.
