Leonard von Blumenthal

Leonard von Blumenthal (1810-1900), full name Leonhard Graf von Blumenthal, was a field-marshal in the Prussian army. He was distinguished in the wars with Denmark, Austria, and France. He was an eminent strategist of his time.
