Lillian Hellman

Lillian Hellman (1906-1984) was a US playwright and memoirist. Her first play The Children's Hour earned her success. The play was controversial because it dealt homosexuality. She was question by US House Committee on alleged Un-American activities. He other famous works are Pentimento, and Scoundrel Time.
