Lola Montez

Lola Montez (1818-1861) was an adventuress of Spanish descent, born at Limerick, in Ireland. She contracted no end of marriages, which were broken off one after another. She took to the stage and became famous as Spanish dancer. She also took to lecturing, and ended in trying to reclaim fallen women.
