MAIBANG

MAIBANG is in Dima Hasao district of Assam in India. It is located at about 53 km from Haflong. This historical place is situated on the bank of the river Mahur.

Maibang once flourished as the capital of Dimasa, Kachari Kingdom. Stone house and temple of Kachari king and other ruins of the kingdom here are now in ruins.
