Mani Ganguly

Mani Ganguly was a revolutionary freedom fighter of India. He was son of Chinta Haran Ganguly. He was born on 14.03.1913, at Samantasar, Faridpur now in Bangladesh. At the age of 13, he was a member of Jugantar Party. He was arrested in May 1932 in connection with Damudya Mail Action Case in 05.05.1932 and subsequently convicted for 5 years prison term. Thereafter, he was deported to Andamans jail. He took part in the first hunger strike there.
