Manoranjan Banerjee was a revolutionary freedom fighter of India. Born 1915, Dacca, Bangladesh. S/O Late Lalit Mohan Banerjee. Arrested in connection with Lebong Action. Trying court, special tribunal sentenced him to death. Commuted by High Court to life term. Deported to Andamans. Participated in the second hunger strike in Cellular Jail in1937 for 37 days. Released on 31st August 1946. Total jail period 13 years.
