Mardana Jhumar is a popular form of folk music in Jharkhand, India. The main participants in this music are men. The music for the Mardana Jhumar dance is provided by a host of loud instruments which elevates the martial mood. They include the shehnai, dhol, nagara, jhanjh and kartal.
