Margaret Atwood

Margaret Atwood (1939- ), full name Margaret Eleanor Atwood, is a Canadian novelist, short-story writer, poet, and critic. She was awarded Booker Prize for her novel The Blind Assassin (2000). Her other notable works are The Edible Woman (1969), The Handmaid's Tale (1985), and Cat's Eye (1989).
