Matthew Boulton
Matthew Boulton (1728-1809) was an eminent English engineer, born at Birmingham. He entered into partnership with James Watt, and established with him a manufactory of steam-engines at Soho, on a barren heath near his native place. He contributed to the improvement of the coinage.Nearby pages
