Maturity

Maturity is a state of being mature in physical and mental development of a being.

For example, it is the stage at which a tree is capable of reproducing itself by seed and has attained its full height.

Maturity is also the stage at which a tree or crop has attained exploitable size or age.

In finance, when a note, a bill, a policy etc becomes due, it reaches maturity.
